Dallas NCAA Fan Events/Travel Plans Thread

Are there any good possibly cheaper ways to get to Dallas besides just a flight from Chicago to Dallas. The tickets are a little pricey.

If you don't care about taking longer to get there, the Amtrak Texas Eagle leaves Chicago at 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14 and arrives in Dallas at 11:30 AM the next day. Game time is 2:10 p.m. Coach fare is $132. This route sometimes has some problems with on time performance.

I can't get to Dallas. Was really hoping for Nashville. I'll be taking the afternoon off, and hope to watch with a group of fans.

I'm flying to Dallas Wednesday night, and flying back Sunday morning.

My dad recommends Hard Eight BBQ which has a few locations 25-35 minutes North and Northwest of the arena. I'm hoping Loyola does a post-game meeting place like they did in St. Louis.

Loyola ticket office is really frustrating me. Keeps going to voicemail. Is it safe to say their tickets are gone?
