Fun website to simulate scenarios for the final three A10 games and see where things would land: https://bball.notnothing.net/atlantic10.php?sport=mbb
Last two double byes are really between us, Dayton, SLU and Joe's. I think the most likely scenario, given remaining schedules, is that we go 2-1 (drop @SLU), Dayton goes 2-1 (drops @VCU), SLU goes 2-1 (drops @Dayton) and Joe's goes 3-0 (three relatively easy games and they are playing very well lately). That would put us and Joe's at 3/4 at 12-6 (we'd have the tie breaker over them) and Dayton and SLU at 5/6 at 11-7. Obviously a lot of basketball to be played, but wouldn't that be something to see Dayton and SLU sitting outside the top 4 after all the preseason (and, in UD's case, non-con) hype?

That thing is awesome, thanks for sharing. It looks like we would clinch a double-bye with a win on Saturday, but still a good path if we drop it. Let's win it though!!goramblers2011 wrote:Fun website to simulate scenarios for the final three A10 games and see where things would land: https://bball.notnothing.net/atlantic10.php?sport=mbb

I think the real strength of this team is that it is versatile...they have a lot of ways they can win. We lost a point guard and we have found different ways on offense. Defensively again we just have a lot of ways to defend as most guys can guard all 5 spots. Helped when DeLoach and Rubin were in foul trouble..I think I saw us in a 1-2-2 zone for a couple of possessions. But DeLoach just keeps doing some not so hot stuff ...However we got some improvement from Houinsou getting to the hoop and even as much as DeLoach drives me nuts he is getting better around the basket.

Win tomorrow and they get a top 4. Lose and they likely don't. Can't ask for anything more than to have your fate in your own hands at the end of the year.goramblers2011 wrote:Fun website to simulate scenarios for the final three A10 games and see where things would land: https://bball.notnothing.net/atlantic10.php?sport=mbb

I don't like us on the road but if you were to choose a road opponent, UMass at only 8-7 at home would be it.
Dayton v. VCU is an important game tonight as well. Ramblers really want that #3 seed as it exchanges SLU instead of Dayton and GMU instead of VCU as early opponents.
