We have offered Avila, and he says here we've been pushing the hardest for him.

I believe that Xavier Amos, a 6' 8" forward from Whitney Young is visiting in the next few days. Same high school as Lucas.

Re: Recruiting Class of 2022
Went to the Riverside-Brookfield Summer Shootout Tournament yesterday and saw Xavier Amos and his Whitney Young squad lose to Oswego in overtime.
Sadly I was not overly impressed with Amos. He has legit height and a projectable body, nice form on his free throws and can put it on the floor some, but in this game at least he seemed disinterested and lazy.
On defense he would switch on every screen instead of fighting through it. He didn't hustle back in transition. He didn't box out on rebounds and wasn't aggressive going after the ball.
On offense he stood around a lot or floated kind of aimlessly. Let himself be pushed out of position when trying to post up.
Seemed a bit sulky when things didn't go his way.
He reminded me of a former Rambler recruit, Marlon Jones, who looked the part of a power forward but didn't have the attitude or basketball instincts to succeed.
Edit: Amos was offered by Kent State and Northern Illinois yesterday, so you might want to take my negative scouting report with a big grain of salt.

Am I wrong or so far does it seem that Coach Drew hands out more offers than Coach Moser...or is it that we just have 7 spots open.
