Daniil was brought in to be a wing player. Porter seems to be more of PG/SG type of player. Porter definitely an athlete, but remember he's a senior and more polished than Daniil at this point in their careers. Daniil is very athletic and a bigger kid. He just needs to relax, improve his shot and work on becoming a bit more fluid. He is an explosive athlete just raw right now.

He's a big kid (6'11"), was highly touted out of high school and he's a sophomore. Could add good size to roster.

3 pt shooting is definitely a huge need. Patrick's 3pt numbers in the German league aren't great (29%), but the line is a little further back. I think Chuck Love is a good shooter, so we may need him starting sooner than later, because Dawson looks to be the only plus-shooter as of now.

If no one leaves in the portal, I think we only have one spot left, right? Unless that changes, I imagine they want that going to a beefier big (possibly this Booker kid). I have high hopes for Brayden Young, but he seems like Mile's skinnier clone -- probably want someone who won't get pushed around by the Avila types.

Keep an eye out for a visit from Clemson's (Lake Forest HS) Asa Thomas.

We were always going to lose someone to Portal Kombat, I hope Dawson gets life changing money that sets him and his mother up for long term success in life. Appreciate him for his time with us and his contributions to the program.

Priority #1 is going to be getting a #1 option on the perimeter for offense next year. Have a lot of awesome pieces on the roster right now but not sure any can be a true go-to guy like JD or Des or Edwards were this year.

Despite JD leaving, we are in excellent shape for next year.

Miles was the big fish to keep in the aquarium. Without him we lose our offensive centerpiece for next year and defensive anchor. Irreplaceable talent and his game continues to improve. From end of January to now it was drastic !!! Next year can only be better. I think Miles values the LUC community, being the guy here, and trusting Drew and the staff in continuing to develop him into a legit pro prospect.

I agree we now need a primary scorer/ shooter PG..... an actual full time shooter maybe also..... and a low post scorer.

2 roster spots remain open? 3?

Much thanks to JD here too. Curious where the new landing spot is.

Quality guards and wing players are so replaceable as portal kombat shows.

Actually, four spots open as the limit goes to 15. Unsure if we'll actually hand out 15 scholarships

JD is a tough loss. We need a couple of big time scorers and we need Moore to be fully healthy.

For certain we need scoring with JD gone.
Drew made it clear players entering the portal would not be doing so for financial reasons.
Makes me curious.
Drew really has to do his magic again with the portal.
