Pats younger brother. Pat spent 4 years being the best lacrosse player in NCAA then played basketball at NU...reminded me of Bill Bradley who played at Princeton (and was later a US Senator). Pat then played in the NBA G League.....the guy was UBER COMPETITIVE ON THE FLOOR...... Guessing Cam is the same, physical measurements are similar. Rutgers is tough competition. They had a decent season this year including making the Dance. Also had Ron Harper's son on the team.Close to his home..He could be in the Midwest spending his time flying to the East Coast or be in the East Coast flying to the Midwest.!
But if we can get him,,would be icing on the cake...https://www.wbaltv.com/article/cam-spen ... l/38820054

I temper my enthusiasm and expectations for transfers from the Patriot League and a D2 program. I hope they can come anywhere close to Knight/Schweiger production, but the A10 is going to be much tougher than MVC.

If memory serves, which is debatable, I believe he was supposed to be on his visit to Rogers Park this week? If so, this might be a good hint that we’re not aiming at another big in the portal.

Yeah, I think once we got Alston and Golden, the need for Davis went away. We are stocked at the 4/5 position now.

With respect to the effectiveness of transfers, Tate, Uguak, Norris, Custer and Townes all sat out a year before they played. which helped them develop. Wilson and Golden all have a great deal of experience. I expect to see more development from Alston.

Barring another transfer, looks like next year's roster is set. Primary ballhandling duties to be split b/w Braden and Quise?

Can't forget Jalen Quinn as a back up point - Edwards can handle some as well.

Wow…hard to give Valentine anything less than an A for his transfer portal work. Next years roster will look something like this?

PG: Norris / Quinn
SG: Kennedy / Edwards / Dawson
SF: Wilson / Schweiger/ Lewis
PF: Alston / Thomas
C: Golden / Welch / Hutson

Hard not to love what we have going into next year. Going to be a way different team but I love all the additions. 2 experienced seniors in Wilson and Golden, and 2 high-upside guys with multiple years of eligibility left in Edwards and Alston.
