I read where DePewl has denied Ben Shapiro --A Conservative) the opportunity to speak on its "Campus" The usual "reasons" were stated.

I trust LUC is bigger Than that. If the same occurred on our Campus , I would be DONE--(For all the importance that would be---NOT !!}

I'm with you on this one Brot. Don't know anything about Shapiro, but he should be allowed to speak his piece and not be denied because of the so-called Hecklers' Veto.
It is a shame that the Liberal orthodoxy on many campuses have become so intolerant of opposing viewpoints.

Exactly Swella !!! The DePewl decision appears to be nothing but cowardice OR tacit agreement with the screamers--Either way it is bad for Academia.

On another thread we are ranting re Cigar Boy--He is gone, why waste time on him?? I say . Let Nebraska and maybe have Creighton take our place with his problems--ONE BIG YUCK !!! MY real issue with him BTW was that he was a "taker"--plus his Politics were far too extreme--FINI !!!
