Shout out to the women's basketball team as they have 5 straight and will not play on Thursday in the conference tournament this year! They are currently sitting at 17 - 10

Just beat 2nd place Missouri State to secure the 5 seed! They are definitely building something. Hopefully, it continues in the A-10 for them.

Seems incredibly dumb. She has the program playing as well as it ever has and seems to have a big passion for the women on the team. What's the deal here?

dont know the ins and outs....but have liked the times I have talked to her,,liked the way the team played...and was impressed with their win over Missouri State near the end of the year.....I thought they played above their talent level...which I think is the issue...They have had a couple of top players leave and it does not seem like she has made enough inroads into recruiting the Chicago area.....and the talent they have now may be woefully short for the A-10....I wish her luck , thought she was a really good person.

Hired Allison Guth, head coach of Yale. She's a native of Buffalo Grove and played for Illinois. Yale has essentially floated above .500 under her leadership, with no NCAAW tourney appearances. Essentially what Kate Achter has done at Loyola.
Still don't understand the move. I am FAR from a NCAAW expert, but it doesn't really make a ton of sense to me.
