When you can't raise 5k for a trip for your flagship sport, there is certainly no money in the budget to fire an AD after you paid off Swoopes.

Wow!@ Thanks for the insight!! He shouldn't have paid her anything after what they did to those kids. I'm reading her quotes!! You're fired and you feel vindicated. Well, money makes up for alot of things. Tricking kids into accepting medical releases from scholarships. Bullying kids and taking study tools away on road trips. Wow! Well at least we can start the healing process and move forward.

I bet she coaches again somewhere, especially if this story stays quiet and details aren't made public. When that is, I don't know. Recently resigned Wake Forest Women's Volleyball Head Coach, Ken Murczek, who had been investigated by the school twice in the last two years for accusations of mistreatment towards players, was just hired to be a head coach at Charleston. There are many examples of coaches who get second chances after a bad rep. On a side note, Murczek and Wake Forest defeat Loyola at Gentile last season.

Her best record in three years was 14-16. She recruited well, but couldn't hold on to players or assistants. I doubt anyone else is going to hand over the keys to a program with that kind of track record. Hopefully she can get another chance somewhere, maybe as an assistant who does a lot of recruiting.

Well we now have a new Gals' coach !! Watson to me at least is vindicated. By LUC standards the hiring of Kate A was lightning quick--Watson must have been moving on this way before Kate---
