Big time!

Where to begin... Dane Leclair (Drago from Rocky 4 according to the BYU analyst) with big time kills and blocks on the right side? Paul Narup goes 12 of 14 without errors? Freshman Garrett Zolg starts at setter, earns a double double, and wins at BYU? Jamo getting a start and contributing nicely? Avery Aylsworth gets a kill? Loyola serving a tad better than BYU in the elevation? Loyola's decent passing on the tough BYU serve? Seven Loyola players with flu-like symptoms?

I think that about covers it. That Jendryk kid has some potential.... :)

Paul Narup was named the Off The Block National Offensive Player of the Night. 12 kills on 14 attempts and zero errors along with 7 blocks.

A much needed win after a season that was really disappointing last year. Maybe the Ramblers were underestimated? BYU has a freakish home court winning percentage, sometimes going years without a loss in the very competitive MPSF.

Our next opponent, UC Irvine is part of the Big West now, along with Hawaii, Long Beach State, CSUN, UCSB and UCSD. #7 UCI beat #6 Lewis last night.

It's a quick turnaround playing the 4:30 pm match after playing the 7 pm match in 5 sets. UCI has quickly swept Lewis in the first match yesterday. Getting out of Provo 1-1 will be great but hopefully the quick turnaround and the seven sick players don't catch up with them.
