Good explanation Sam. Now please explain describing Matt Rafferty as mediocre after the Furman game. He had 15 points and 17 rebounds against Villanova. Moser recruited him heavily 4 years ago. Wish Loyola had him.

What does he need to explain about rafferty? He scored 18 points on us and had 7 rebounds, along with getting the win. So I wouldn’t use that as an example of Krutwig having great defense.

It seems pretty silly to me to have all this hand ringing over Cams defense, his first & most important role is on offense and it shouldnt be a surprise that he's less proficient on the defensive end given the amount of effort he exerts leading the offense.

I do think that some extra attention could be paid to the scouting report, Cam (and the other Cs) seem to lag off too much out near the arc despite the fact that more than a few of the opposing Cs we have played are very proficient outside shooters.

Yeah cam hasn’t been our issue this year, it’s been the awful shooting overall, bad FT percentage, and high number of turnovers. For the most part cam has been putting up consistent offensive numbers and boards like he was last year. It’s the other pieces of the puzzle that we’re missing that will hopefully fall into place.
