Tom O'Hara

Tom O'Hara, my classmate in the class of 1964, died Tuesday at the age of 77. Tom broke the indoor mile record in 1964, and then broke that record a month later in the Daily News Relays at the Chicago
Stadium. That record stood for 14 years.
