Loyola is Loyola, new conference not withstanding. They lose their point guard Cully Payne and their "man in the middle", so I think Turk will be relied on heavily. Shut him down and it's a lock.

I think that type of comment is something we will come across quite a bit this year. Those of us who follow the team way too closely know that it's dangerously simplistic.
For example, if they put their focus on shutting down Turk, then Doyle will destroy them. For another example, Keke White is better than Cully.
My simplistic take on UIC is that they are losing Barnes, Talton, and Crittle so they won't be able to stop us inside or out
