pandemic/health care.

Post by natetheskate »

1. 25 sorry to hear about your niece...have several friends being effected by the pandemic....I thought this podcast was useful in trying to understand what seems perplexing that we are laying off health care workers during a health emergency. I have been paying attention to health care a great deal lately...as I lost a great friend and Loyola Hall of Famer recently that in trying to help him through his health care situation ended up believing that he died un-necesarily as he just could not get the necessary care he needed. As a side note hope you and your family are doing well and sure hope we get to travel to a couple LU road games this upcoming year.

2. JC64 just curious what your credentials are to make a statement that we have over-reacted to the virus considering that the US with 4% of the world population yet close to 30% of the deaths.....has reached a rising total of 70,000, with cases still rising..or is that just an opinion. I would grant that some numbers maybe skewed because our accounting may be superior to some other countries. Here is my source
