Ecstatic to watch this team against tough competition. UIC in a week from tomorrow will be a big step up from Lewis and Chicago State.

I was Surprised by that as well, it was mentioned that Clemons has a sore knee.

Great defense.

Thought that seeing a couple threes go in definitely lifted our offense, and we started to get some flow.

Trying not to overreact, but everything just looks wrong when we are at the line. We need to get our better shooters to the line and get some confidence going. Someone should tell Tate he sucks at FTs and forget everything he knows. Just get the ball and shoot it. The hesitation setup is weird and the follow through is bad. No reason he can't shoot 70%.

We’re really going to be able to spread the floor with this team, Norris looks great so far.

This seems like a trend from him that isn’t going to change, below 60% for 116 shots last year and 0-3 right now.

Need Montel James to help Tate and the team with free throws.

I see we're reverting back to the "go ice cold for 5+ minutes"

someone should tell Tate he sucks at FTs

He is a flinger.....which produces little back spin...so the ball motion on his free throws is horizontal....when he jumps for 3 pointers arm extends and shot is more vertical. most people start at a 90 degree angle....tate starts at less than that meaning the motion is going horizontal......
CHicago St..looks a level up from Lewis and UiC at least a level up from them....so maybe it all worked out correctly considering the Covid break
