This is heartening for intrastate underdogs like us. 14th seed Abilene Christian just beat 3 seed Texas!

Really hoping we (especially Krutwig) can bait Cockburn into some early fouls. Their backup is very good as well but nowhere near the same threat defensively. On another note, I wonder what the strategy will be in regards to guarding Cockburn/Ayo. On one hand, if we double Cockburn and dare them to shoot threes, he does not pass well out of doubles and is a poor FT shooter. With that though, it gives Ayo room to attack off of us scrambling after a double. On the other hand, we could let Krutwig go one on one with Cockburn defensively and let him get his, while sticking to their shooters and limiting Ayo. Tough choices...wonder what Porter will do. I know he usually is a fan of not helping off corner shooters, but Ayo/Cockburn are not your typical opposing players.

It’s a lovely morning in Indy. Weather forecast calls for a high of 63 (seriously). Let’s have ourselves a day and spoil some Champaign wishes.

Real question for Grad or Big Joe:

Beer served at game?

Indy prohibits alcohol sales on Sunday before noon (local game time start). But can you buy a beer in stadium after 12?

I have witnessed beers in hands. Unclear if they purchased it or snuck it in. I’d be more impressed if it’s the latter.

Another real question:

Any Covid protocols for fans such as temperature checks at gate, etc.?

Beautiful Sunday. CBS. Only game in the time slot. It is all right in front of us...these are the opportunities you kill for. Go out and take it.
