Looks like we made the top 3 along with Grand Canyon and Santa Clara for Sheldon Edwards out of Valpo. Not sure he cracks our starting lineup but he can score points and would be a welcome addition.

Fits our identity as a good defender with a lot of range. 3 years of eligibility (2+covid) and there is a path for him to get a lot of playing time with Saint/Schwieger as our other wings for the next couple of years, unless Trayvon and Jaden adjust quickly.

Have to imagine our program is the best of the 3 listed, but if he wants a lot of PT probably the hardest path

I read somewhere where about 400 kids last year did not find a new school to play for after going into the portal. With March Madness in the books, I am looking for the amount of players making commitments to increase. All of the these schools are on multiple players and scrambling to fill needs and transfer vacancies. We will probably start getting answers very soon.

Terry Roberts of Bradley has entered the portal...this is like musical chairs...Should have a good idea if he is what we are looking for...Saw him 3 times last year... had 6, 11 and 17 against us.

Josiah Strong is transferring from Illinois State. He's a senior so I think just one year of eligibility. 6'4 guard who shot a tick over 40% from deep last year. Wonder if we give him a look.
