Brot will be missed, Always a unique perspective colored in maroon and gold. And cannot forget his disdain for "oxen-ball"

Genuinely enjoyed all of his posts on here. Such a unique perspective and a treasure trove of history. Rest in peace, Brot! Cheer on the Ramblers from up above.

Re: In Memoriam: Brot1Britu
Sad to hear. I was beginning to worry as to why he hadn’t posted in a while.
With all of the stories he posted about his family through the years, it almost feels like we’ve lost a distant relative. In fact, I’m now remembering communicating with him years ago about a connection between his wife and my family here in Springfield, and how cool that random connection was…
Such a small world we live in at times, and a big loss here in the even smaller Ramblermania world.
RIP, Brot.

This is truly saddening to hear but I know Brot is still watching our boys from the great beyond. Had the pleasure of meeting him at a Cleveland State game and he was the real deal. He will be missed but not forgotten, may we all be as positive in our fandom as Brot was and remember to find the joy in life.

Learned a lot and got even more laughs from Brot. Great Rambler, wishing the best for his family. Rest in Peace, glad he got to see 2018

Brot picked me up from the Cleveland airport when I came to see a game at Cleveland State. A true gentleman. It appears his last post was in February. I am glad he got to see the Final Four and Sweet 16. Very sad news. Thanks to JCT for putting this together. All of us are one small family here on ramblermania.

Ramble on with Long Shot Lori and all the other great RAMBLER fans. I won't be surprised to see Brot posting on the Board from his view from on high!

RIP/RIH BROT!!
I never met Brot, to my regret.
I loved reading his quirky fun posts.
That was a very nice memorial you wrote about Brot John.
Thanks Ahunte for the heads-up.
I hope all is well with everyone else.
