Continuation of our “always the bridesmaid, never the bride” with 4+ star recruits. Have to hit on one soon, right?

The women's team picked up a four-star. Thought it might become a trend.

I never thought that a Muslim kid from Mali living in Utah would even consider a Catholic school in Chicago that has no international players on the roster. It's a testament to the coaching staff that the Ramblers made the top 5. They'll break through eventually, especially if the team wins this year.

How important is NIL in recruiting? Does LUC have much to offer?

Yes NIL is big time for big time players....Creighton has an alumni fund that is giving out major money plus 20,000 for parents to travel to games....I forgot which team but every player got a one year lease on a new pick up.....and we do have a program where you can buy stuff like a certain players jersey and some of the cash goes to them. I think where it will hurt us is when we get a good freshman who plays really well and is then recruited by another team in the portal and they offer a better NIL deal. SOme schools just help students find opportunities to use their name, image likeness....I will see if I can find the LU NIL program.

I would be fascinated to see what NIL expectations are across d1 basketball. I wouldn't expect us to be competitive with the Big East, but are we competitive within the a10? I can't imagine there's a Loyola booster willing to dole out trucks but maybe the team can get their U-passes comped.

Fortunately I believe that’s just the “FanCast”. I could go in and vote Loyola if I want and it would shift it. Someone could definitely know something, but I will wait until the experts weigh in.

Arizona State has an Irvin on coaching staff, so they would be the logical choice for Jaden. The Irvin has a history with him.
I hope I am wrong and he picks us.
