Myke Henry

Post by GoRamblers »

He requested his release last week and, rumor has it, he was just finishing up the semester.

He wants to play close to home and he wants to play on the wing.

Porter...GO GET HIM!

But of course...

Here's the important part

Illinois swingman Myke Henry was granted his official release by the program and now has several options, most of which are located in the Midwest.

DePaul, Bradley, Drake, Loyola (IL), Providence, SIU-Edwardsville, and South Carolina have all expressed interest in Henry, according to WeAreDepaul.com. Henry is from the Chicago area and is looking for a college where he can play the small forward position.

Not sure why he would choose DePaul over us, but whatever.

Too bad. Seems like a nice pickup for DePaul.
