So two more games can be scheduled, it looks like? Hopefully both road games that could be Q1 opportunities. Right now our most likely Q1 games are:

@ VCU
@ Dayton
@ SLU
@ San Francisco

None of which are slam dunks -- would require the A10 to not eat itself as it typically does, and SF to not regress. We'd also have a remote chance if Colorado St is really good. And the Acrisure Series -- but the field is not that great and it's pretty much a crapshoot on who we get paired with, and I don't believe it's even the kind of tourney where you can even win your way into a big-time championship game opponent.

Not sure what the realistic options are. Maybe Porter throws us a bone for a game @OU? Drake?

One thing that VCU does is put a home and home in their coach's buyout so when their coach leaves, they'll get a P5 game at home. I don't know if we did that with Porter, but I would hope that a similar VCU type clause is in Drew's contract (and every other coach's contract going forward.

Was hoping for a P5 game, but again, another solid neutral site game against a good mid major program.

Santa Clara in Santa Cruz sounds more like a road game than a neutral game. Seems like Drew is rolling the dice, less cupcakes at home and more reasonable

North Texas game the biggest one we hadn’t seen yet.

More great content from the creative department: They’ve been killing it with their “Locals Know” season countdown videos featuring local institutions throughout the off season as well.

North Texas game is at Hoffman Estates, so it must be a double header. Coached by Daniyal Robinson, who spent a few years under Porter. He is coming from Cleveland State.
