Lost a Hall of Famer

Mike Murphy, Hall of Famer from the golf team and a good personal friend died early this week. Good guy, became an PGA guy after graduating, worked at some great clubs, North Shore, Shore Acres, Big Foot, La Quinta.....played in some big time tournaments Illinois Open , Illinois State Amateur, Midwest Am, Western Open. . At LU was part of championship teams as a player and a coach winning titles in the Chicagoland Collegiate Golf Conference.
