If You Had a Free Ride to a Ph.D. Where Would You Go?

Post by Rambler63 »

I was in St. Louis a couple of weeks ago, and saw a story on the local news about an area student who won a full scholarship from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, good for all of her tuition through finishing a Ph.D. It kinda floored me when at the end of the report the reporter said she was going to Loyola.

Good for her! It's certainly a good time to be a student at Loyola!

My friend's son just finished his freshman year at Loyola and he and his parents are very impressed. They live in Medina, Ohio (my old stomping grounds), which is about 30 miles south of Cleveland. I was so excited when I heard he chose Loyola; I knew he would like it. You all have a great school and a great campus.
